Was literally 5 minutes late and got a ticket in front of a school in a "passenger loading" area. My question is, there was no curb painted white, any way I have a legitimate chance of winning if i contest this? Also, if it's a "loading zone" isn't there a 5-10 minute loading period where I should be allowed to park and "load" passengers?

Literally, the loading zone is literally for loading and the driver cannot literally abandon the vehicle literally parked in the loading zone. Figuratively speaking, all of that applies as well.

Thanks for the reply. The condescending attitude was unnecessary though.

The curb doesn't have to be painted but there does have to be signage. If there was no concise signage then you may be able to get the ticket waived. I got a parking ticket waived just this week because the only signage was across the street and facing away from my side of traffic. It was also nonsensical and impossible to understand, but if that were enough to get a parking ticket waived then the city's coffers would be empty in a year...
