Thanks for reading this...

I am moving back to LA after years out of state. However, this time I will be living alone (cue sad violin ) and as a single, young, female and I am looking for a place that is safe, affordable and close to work in the Paramount Studios area.

I have lived in Burbank (too far IMO) and Cheviot Hills area (great, if I can find a place). I am looking to spend no more than $1500 (I can maybe budge at $1600) for a 1bd/1ba that allows a cat.

Please, any and all advice is welcomed! Thank you in advance!!!

There are lots of apartments around paramount studios that will never make it to the Internet. You'll have to drive around to find them.

Just make sure you run out the door, if you see a black leather couch in the reception area or inside the interviewer's office.
