In your experience, what are the best and worst commutes?

Worst:

101 South from Universal City to Downtown in the morning (and reverse in the afternoon)
405 South from Sherman Way to Sunset in the morning (and reverse in the afternoon)

Best:

118 East from Moorpark (or Simi Valley) to Balboa Blvd in the morning (and reverse in the afternoon)

405 southbound through South Bay in the morning is a breeze.

110 north into downtown is usually death and Fig as an alternate is getting bad, esp since idiot LA drivers have decided it's actually a freeway and ignore the heavy pedestrian traffic there.

pretty much the entire 101 freeway in both directions through the san fernando valley is a parking lot during commuting hours and often on the weekends as well.

Having lived in SoCal for many years, I had the following awful commutes:

Pasadena to El Segundo, going through Downtown in the morning and afternoon was pure stress
South Pasadena to Calabasas, 101 was awful

I had the following easy commutes:

South Pasadena to Pasadena (4 miles, 12 minutes)
