I did map it for 5-6pm. The times were very consistent, though it did take a few minutes more (like 3-8 minutes).

Unless you are going to one of the colleges in the Southbay, the drive and the cost doesn't make sense for you if you are trying to save money.

Yea, I'm trying to stay close to Westwood. But, I'm also looking at some place in south Sherman Oaks. I think 30-45 minutes is definitely doable. Gonna check commute times again tomorrow.

9/80 is pretty rare. Far more common that people are going on getaways for the weekend and clogging up freeways on Friday.
