Highland south to Olympic is so much better than La Cienega (Avoid La Brea at all costs!) I've even had to backtrack and go down Western when traffic's been horrific.

Agreed, Highland going south does move (As it only goes as far as olympic), but Highland north is a nightmare. Hauser and Cochran are also decent alternatives to go north/south in the area.

I don't like the idea of driving two miles south to Olympic just to get to Century City. Seems like a waste of time. It's not as if Olympic blvd is free from congestion either--it usually bogs down pretty bad at the intersection where Olympic/Fairfax/san Vicente meet.

I'd stick with the misery on Santa Monica Blvd.

Is La Brea south in the morning really that bad?
