I was wondering what your take is on blacks in the valley. What parts do they live, how many, cool people?, different than LA, etc.
Ps. I'm a LA black male

They tend to be spread out all over. There are a lot, not as many as South LA, but there is a good amount. I knew many that lived in Granada Hills, Northridge, and Reseda.

They're all over the Valley, like Jamills21 said. Why would they be any different than the AAs who live in L.A.?

Here is some info on the area. It looks like they account for only 4.6% of the total population as 2012.

That's more than the size of the black population in Long Beach.

I had heard that Lake View Terrace had a pretty big black population for the valley and just looked it up and looks like it's 17%

NoHo Arts seems to have a pretty big black population for the valley too.

But looks like north hollywood is only 5.4% . If you are in arts district though it seems more like 20% at least..but thats a small part .
