I hope they win tomorrow also. But I'm getting nervous because I don't know which Laker team will show up I just knew with Yeo out that we wouldn't have a problem with the Rockets. But it's like we did better with him there!

I am sitting here wondering how this series between the Rockets and Lakers went this far. I knew this series was going to be tough for the Lakers but what is going on here?

It would be a major embarrassment if the Lakers did in fact lose game 7 on their home floor. They had better win or else all the papers in LA are going to report how they blew a series they should have won. Rockets have no Yao Ming or Tracy Mcgrady to help them so there is no excuse for the Lakers to not win. Do any of you know what is going on here? I think that since the NBA is a business, they will find ways to make $$. The series being extended like this helps the venues make more $$ and the fans get more exposed to seeing their teams play.

Do any of you think the Lakers actually might be playing inconsistent on purpose? I believe in conspiracy theories and always have. Everything happens for a reason because that's how the Universe operates.

I think there are going to be lots of nervous Laker fans out there and I just think the Lakers have to not only win, but win by double digits to somehow try to get on th right track.

The Lakers will win tomorrow. They seem to thrive on "drama" [maybe that's why they are in Los Angeles ]. I can barely handle the games that they play when they are either unfocused or "arrogant" [as Charles Barkley calls them]. The Rockets will go down tomorrow but should be praised for their determination though I can't stand Ron Artest [a real crazy man!].

The Lakers will deal with Denver & I suspect it will be another long series but that's OK since we get to see more games that way! In-fact, I predict that the Lakers will be in the finals against Cleveland & will win in spite of Lebron James [who is the next "great" NBA star].

No doubt in my mind that the Rockets have given the Lakers everything they can handle but in the end, Kobe's will to win is too much. I did not see Game 5 when they won by 40 points. At home, the Lakers are a different team as they seem to play better in front of their fans.

As for the Denver Nuggets, they too will be tough for the Lakers.

And when you say that the Lakers would win vs. Cleveland even though they won't have the home court advantage, why? Is it because the Lakers have a better overall team?

I have a hard time believing the Lakers can beat the Cavs since Cleveland has been tough to deal with on their floor. And they really haven't been tested in the playoffs yet due to being in a weak Eastern Conference. It just seems to me that the Cavs will be extremely tough but who knows what can happen?

Kenny Smith said he thought the Lakers would win because as he said the pieces surrounding Kobe are better than those around Lebron James. He also said that the Lakers are just too big, strong and powerful. What do you think?

Agree entirely. My sense is that the Eastern conference is "weaker" as you point out. The Lakers shut down the Cav's winning streak earlier this past season & have done quite well against Cleveland. "King James" is certainly playing some incredible ball & considering his age, I predict he will be as good as Kobe or maybe even Michael Jordan some day. The Cav's haven certainly taken care of business during the play-offs & can never be under-estimated. It will be an interesting series. Boston & Orlando are great teams but not up to the same level as the Lakers & Cavilers [esp since Kevin Garrett's injury]. I wish the Celtics were healthier this year so they could defend their championship but next year may be another story. I'd love to see the Laker's trade some players like Lamar Odin & Trevor Ariza for Dwight Howard but that's probably just wishful thinking [beside I really like Lamar & Trevor]. Personally I think Luke Walton is a big disappointment & if Andrew Bynum is injury-prone then he should be traded.

I really like the Denver Nuggets & look forward to the next play-offs. What are your opinions of Denver?

Denver is like team of thugs like the jailblazers before as said in some other forums and could win if crowd chant persistently is allowed can give kobe bad memories.

The lakers have too much finals experience vs the cavs.

9 rings for Phil, and 3 for Kobe.

0 for Mike Brown, and 0 for Lebron.

Phil has forgotten more from the Finals, than the entire Cavs roster has played. Lakers in 4 or 5 if its lakers, cavs.

But let's take it game by game. Denver has some awesome players in Carmelo\ Billups\ Nene & Kenyon Martin is one of my favorite forwards. I think it could certainly end up being another long series before the Finals start.
