Should be a good game tommorow night. Im not a Laker fan but I gotta think they will close it out. While the Spurs are desperate, its hard to bet against Kobe in an elimination game (err, minus 3 games in the 2006 playoffs)....

I hope you are right. It would suck to have to go back to San Antonio. BOS-Detroit looks like it will go seven. A rested Lakers could spilt the first two in BOS should the finals be between them.
I think it's stupid for the NBA officials to comment one no call. If they want to dissect one call, they should go through the whole game and second guess every call. Once a call is made, it's over. I'm surprised the officials would get involved in this controversy. It doesn't change anything, it just gets everyone riled up.
It was the Spur's home court, so they should never allow a game to get close enough to be decided by one play. If they controlled the game like a home team is supposed to, one play makes no difference.

The Celtics-Pistons series has been much more interesting and better of a series than the Spurs-Lakers in my opinion that is (speaking not being a fan of any of those teams). The last two games are going to be great, hopefully everyone is healthy enough to play. Celtics-Lakers?? Wow, would that be something!!

I agree, it was totally stupid. The game was over, there was nothing they could do about it anymore and they came out as said this. All it does is create controversy.
To give you an idea of what kind of future the Lakers have, Kobe is the third oldest player on the Lakers. Wasn't he just in high school a few years ago?
Two minutes left, Lakers by seven. Think anyone will start the "Boston Sucks" chant in anticipation of a LA-BOS Finals? (Kind of like the Boston Fans yelled "Beat LA" to cheer on the 76ers at the end of the game when the 76ers were eliminating Boston in Boston in 1982.)
