Is huntington park a good place to live? I heard it is getting a little more diverse and am wondering if this is a up and coming area.

People are "up and coming" from south of the border to live there.

It isn't usually regarded as a nice place to live. Close to industrial areas, Poor LAUSD schools, and the highest childhood obesity rate in the state of California. Also, it is becoming less diverse (surprisingly possible). In the 2000 Census Hispanics/Latinos accounted for 95.6% of the population, in 2010 Hispanics/Latinos accounted for 97.1% of the population.

I like it, but if you're not interested in appreciating the community that's there and just looking for the next Silverlake it's not for you.
