I think for the lifestyle people in LA seek, there's no better place on earth. Laid-back, sunny, beaches, somewhat suburban yet still urban, great restaurants, immense diversity. However, affordability, nightlife, and a true urban culture are its downfalls for many people. If a city like Chicago or NYC had the weather of LA, they would be better, I'd venture to say, for the vast majority of people. I, for one, would much prefer NYC or Chicago because they're more urban. You can walk to more places and take public transit and never sit in traffic ever again. Plus, the nightlife there is much better.

But, all that aside, London is still the greatest city on earth.
