Plenty of streets in the city of LA like that too. And not all of them even in nice homeowner neighborhoods. Like parts of Hollywood.

Santa Monica used to be sleepy. Especially the northwest part. Now it's tourist/out of area central. Everyone comes to the stairs, the palisades park, the 3rd st promenade, the beach. They hog all the spaces in the residential areas. I feel for those people. It's not right to come home from work and have no parking space because somebody is jogging by the beach.
