I miss Cracker Barrel, but in no way is LA lacking in restaurants. You lost all credibility with me when you listed Whataburger and Schlotzky's.

That was the point where 909 lost credibility with you?...Did you read their other posts?

909er is the absolute best. Brings great topics for all the people that actually live in the area to come together and show him what a complete bonehead he is.

French Dip sandwiches. There's another.
You can't even really find them here in the Bay Area. Especially not lately.

That is correct. Chili Burgers were invented in LA.

Although I did have a pretty decent lobster roll from a food truck at the Make Music festival (I have seen it around Pas and the rest of LA quite a bit). It's not as good or fresh as the East Coast obviously, but pretty good.
I like to savor the local "bugs" when I can find them (sometimes I need to get them myself!). It's actually difficult to find Pacific Lobster even in LA.

Great "tip" - thanks! Also, some good Filipino suggestions in that list, will have to try next time I'm in The Valley.

Oh yeah, Dodger Dogs and In n Out. Wow.
Look, man, I am not interested in knocking the 92337, or the rest of Fontana for that matter, but you make it hard to resist.

Do you NOT know that a number of chains (a few of the big ones) STARTED here in the Greater LA area, especially in what is now the 626 and 909? McDonalds, In-N-Out, The Hat, and I believe some others as well. You have something unique to the IE in Baker's, which I have never tried except to stop for a soda on the way to the mountains.....one of these days....
