My brother took a trip to Baja last year and he stopped at the Pacifico Beer brewing company thinking it was an authentically Mexican endeavor. WRONG! It was founded by German immigrants to Mexico!

I find little German influence in Mexican food. There is like a night and day difference between those two cuisines.

I believe theres german influence in mexico.

Not in Mexico's cuisine. I've eaten both and find no similarities at all.

In Tex-Mex there is. In the beer too.

I'm sure in the regions of Mexico where Germans settled, there's probably some influence on the local cuisine. I'm not certain, but my guess would be that there is.

Beer of course. I've had Tex-Mex and don't remember any dish similar to Sauerbraten, Jaeger Schnitzel, or Beef Roulade.
