Ralphs, Whole Foods, and what else?
I was living in Houston and I miss Kroger.

Ralphs is basically Kroger. They carry the Kroger brands.

There's also Gelson's and Bristol Farms, although not as widespread. Really depends where you live.

Depends on the region. Ralphs and Vons are everywhere consistently. Until the Whole Foods in DTLA opened, you couldn't find one between West Hollywood and Pasadena. It's still very much a Westside store (including west valley). Same with Trader Joes, Gelsons and Bristol Farms. In the Hispanic areas there is some Vallarta, El Super, North Gate. Also, Jon's is a popular small chain.
