I don't think you understand how the internet and/or forums work but good luck.

Just have to say- it is interesting to compare a city vs. a whole continent.

You can't expect to come on a forum and ask for advice if you're not telling us the whole story. What's gonna happen if you type the name of a country?

Why would naming a country on an anonymous forum be so bad? Do you want advice or not. Writing the name of a country in Europe you're thinking of moving to will not open up the gates of Hell under you or anything. All it can do is benefit you when we give you advice. European countries have plenty of entertainment industry options, but not all. How can we give you advice on an entire continent?

It's probably one of those city-sized countries like San Marino or Liechtenstein, so comparing it to LA isn't a big stretch of imagination. But if the OP won't disclose the country, then this thread is a waste of space on the City Data servers.

Will you be able to get a visa that would allow a path to EU citizenship? If so, I'd go that route in order to have dual citizenship in my pocket. L.A. isn't going anywhere.

If no such option, throw a dart.

I think Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando and New York are all better for American entertainers than any European country. Wanna be a singer or actor in London? Speak British English! An artist or writer? Maybe you can.. But remember, there is no second Hollywood in the whole World!

Thanks again for all your feedback. I know it sounds absurd that I won't list the country where I've been living the last 2 months.

Just know that I have my reasons. I don't think Americans realize the kind of access and authority European countries have over individuals who enter into their cities. It's somewhat oppressive but no worse than America and the path its chosen to take.

To play it safe, I'd rather not give out certain information that might be held against me should a legal issue ever occur.

From the looks of it, I think I'll be leaving America. I finally found some information I was looking for about the local music scene and a private "on the DL" male stripper scene

Wow, this just got more ridiculous.
