Hi there, I am fairly new landlord. and I want to make sure that i am not breaking any laws.

My tenant has been in my property almost 4 years I have never raised their rent but, I am considering doing it now what is the average rate of increase? how do I know if my property is in a rent control area?

Look up the number for the Fair Housing Council in your area. It's free advice. They know the law and even have free workshops for landlords.
