This Los Angeles Home Is Worth Half A Million Dollars, But Wait Until You See It

I was reading some of my newsletters, and just finished reading about this home that's on the market.

I couldn't believe my eyes! Half a million bucks for this?

Being skeptical about this, I did a bit of a search and found this home on another site.

By crikey! I don't care what sort of a neighbourhood this house is in; it's horrible. Half a million bucks?!

I wouldn't pay four hundred bucks for that house. It's an environmental disaster.

To quote the late, great Bette Davis..."What a dump!"

People can list houses for whatever price they want. Get back to me when it has sold.

Sounds about right. The price is not for the house but for the land it sits on.

It's the land it's on -- not the structure -- that's worth (maybe) have a million.

You're paying for the location.

Listing it at half a mil has gotten it 120,000 views, looks like marketing has worked.

Redfin says there is a 70% chance it will sell in the next four days. Other houses in the neighborhood list at $675k. It's in a culdesac, decent lot, great schools. Someone will buy it and knock it down and rebuild. Maybe less than asking but since owner paid $26k they will probably make a nice profit

Do you?

I know of a place nearby that I could arrange for you to buy that wouldn't cost you half a million bucks!

Marketing only worked when something get sold.

If they were search for an internet meme it worked, but marketers are so dumb these days they think "likes" have some kind of correlation with sales.
