I'm pretty sure the hotel is closed.

I don't know why anyone would want to stay there.

Cecil is not closed, just rebranded "Stay on Main"

Lol there are countless cheap hotels/motels around the country with similar gruesome events and violent people who frequented them as the Cecil. But being in LA, Cecil definitely benefits from the Hollywood hype, I'm sure that's why Tazorac wants to stay there.

The hotel as it was back when it was called "Hotel Cecil" is closed, which is what I meant. Either way, the hotel looks like a piece of crap.

Yeah, but how many had multiple famous serial killers and a girl who wound up in a bolted water tank w/ spooky camera footage....yeah, that's a big NOPE!

American Horror Story is literally based on the Cecil Hotel

It's seriously creepy and a lousy hotel to stay at. A friend of mine stayed there when she came to visit me because she was so wrapped up in the Elisa Lam mystery and I ended up checking the place out with her. It's really grimy and they STILL don't lock the door to the roof, even though that's where Elisa Lam died and dozens of people have committed suicide from. You can just walk right onto the roof and check out the water tanks for yourself.

One of my good friends has a serious obsession with getting to the rooftop of every building he's staying at. And you'd be surprised how many of them make it that easy to get to the roof top.

When the Lam story broke, I wasn't even surprised she got to the roof. The quality of the employees at Stay on Main/Cecil are probably not the best - things go unlocked all the time.
