The one in the Eagle Rock Plaza just closed. It is now a Taekwondo studio.

There used to be one just north of the Pasadena City College but it's long gone. People mostly play those things at home, they're so advanced. I haven't played once since the the eighties.

There's one in Old Town Pasadena but it's not a place where you pay to play once. They have some silly setup where you pay a huge lump to go in.

There's one in Glendale called a Barcade but I've never been there. Where was there a good one in the old days?

The one north of PCC was called Pac-Man arcade. I spent many hours there playing Counterstrike in the early 2000's. It is now a board game store called Game Empire.

I used to go to Pak Mann quite often back in the mid-late '90s (95-98ish). Back then, it was still very much a real coin-op arcade without that internet cafe component (Counterstrike) you are talking about. The eastern section of the building was for vintage machines and bigger machines.

I would imagine most of them are long gone now.

Yeah, I used to go to the one close to PCC when I was living in SoCal many years ago. Played Missile Command, Astroids and PacMan on Friday nights after a stressful week at UCLA.

Nowadays, there's Dave and Buster's, which is a modern version. But, I liked the older ones the best.

I used to also go to Beverly Lanes in Montebello. Great arcade games and great spot to hang out Friday nights in the 80's.

UCLA has its own arcade on campus... I recall it's in the same complex as the bookstore and a cafeteria. Well, it was there about 10 years ago. Not sure if it still exists.

Yep, recall it well. Haven't been on campus for more than 15 years, so I have no idea.

Super Arcade and Family Arcade.

Super Arcade closed a long time ago.

Family arcade (the fancier looking one with blue tile exterior) is still around, apparently.
