Taking a trip for my 20th marriage anniversary in July. Will be visiting LA for a week and the Hotels I've been checking are $200 and up a night. I'm trying to find something still nice but reasonable in a decent or good area?

Thanks in advance for recommendations...

LA hotels are overpriced. Reserve a condo on AirBnB and don't look back.

What are you looking for in a hotel? For example I would never stay at the previously mentioned Hotel Normandie because they have valet parking only. I suggest looking at Embassy Suites or Marriott Residence Inns.
