Used to live the Lakers when I lived there Jerry West through Magic days......then moved to San Antonio. Learned to love Admiral and Duncan. Despise Kobe since then plus his rape. Happy to see them suck. Lost to Jazz by 48. Nice.

I'm a Celtics fan so I really don't care. But it's the Lakers coach that sucks and owners for allowing him to do what he's doing. They are supposed to tanking the season for a high draft pick and letting young guys like Russell, Randle and Clarkson play 35 minutes per game and he can't figure that out. They need lessons from the Sixers and Suns

I don't think they have to tank to lose. I think they'd lose anyway.

I agree. We need to let Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Nance, etc. get some minutes under their belt now so that they have some experience if and when a quality lottery pick and/or a top free agent gets on board. Getting the #1 pick or a max free agent won't mean much otherwise. The young guys need to get their run now so that they can either be valuable help in the future or, if needed, decent trade pieces.

The two most valuable teams in the league are the Lakers and Knicks and both the Warriors and the Spurs have more wins than both of them put together.

To the Lakers credit, going by history, they usually don't stay down very long so we'll see. "Yankees of basketball" and all that.

value of franchise is tied to market, tv contracts, real estate etc which is why top 7 is NY, LAL, CHI, BOS, LAC, GS, BKN

Go to some Kings games. Great crowd (it's loud!), they actually win championships, and the celebs have even switched from Lakers to Kings games.
