A guy was stabbed to death today on the Blue Line. A word to the wise is sufficient.

Fatal stabbing closes Blue Line in Long Beach, killer at large - MyNewsLA.com

How terrible. I wonder if this was another murder committed by a 'transient'

Wow. Blue Line is safe, just runs through sketchy areas. Doesn't sound like a random killing, or maybe at 2AM it was.

A person killed at 2am? The murderer was probably a deranged homeless person.

Absolutely true

In other words, where all of the "industry" people from New York live and work

The liberal L.A. attitudes are the problem. "Broken Windows," which helped clean up our cities and started the movement back to cities, is out of fashion. Prop 47 was a get out of jail free card and there are no consequences for petty criminals who are free to do what they want. Realignment released tens of thousands of felons, just like mental hospital closures in the past. Cops are tired of being second guessed by politicians, radical activists and the media, so it's not in their interest to do anything. Their management doesn't even support them. Feel sorry for those people that spent millions to live next to skid row in L.A. It's only going to get worse.
