I never did get what makes Range Rover a expensive car? I just don't see it. There is nothing special about them.

So how do you know the ones buying all those other cars aren't liberals?

You can tell someone's political views from behind the wheel of their car? Wow, what a lame super power.

It's Los Angeles. They probably are.

You're about to start seeing a whole lot more of them - apparently pre-orders for their new 'affordable' model are numbering above 300k.

They won't start rolling out the Model 3 until late 2017 at the earliest, and it will likely be a slow rollout for a year or so since the demand is so high and the manufacturing so complex. Hopefully the Model 3 rolls out more smoothly than the Model X, but either way it will be a while.

When I used to work on the westside I used to see a ton of Tesla's , it was kind of nuts. I think a lot of Prius owners switched over to Tesla once they were able to buy a nicer and more luxury eco friendly car. Especially if you can charge it with the solar panels on your house , then it's really eco friendly!

I do feel like the Tesla is a 'statement' car , I think they look cool despite being electric cars.

It will be interesting to see if we see less Priuses and more Model 3's once they come out.
The model 3 will still be more expensive than a new Prius though.

There are a lot more in L.A. than where I'm at up in Seattle. Particularly Silver Lake to the beach. I was surprised.

Maybe Hollywood has a secret "Tesla Cult".

Or maybe higher wealth means more luxury cars?
