Yes, the people here won't be like the people in MA.

I was visiting Provincetown last summer and I was speaking with an older lady (maybe about 60). I told her how I was living in Silicon Valley, she said she hated the people in SF and needed to move back east (this must have happened 20-30 years ago). She said it's worth dealing with the winters to live with the people from back east.

Yup...exactly, especially if you are from the Northeast to begin with..people from Boston and NY generally tell you whats on their minds...good or bad...here its a lot more politically correct and passive aggressive...shun you etc.....this of course is just a generality.
