Besides South central, eastside of the pasedena is said to be gang filled.

What parts of the SGV are not safe?

Altadena is not great until you get to the mountains and then its nice.

Pasadena north of the 134 and east of Hill is not great either.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

100% No.

1) The most exclusive neighborhood of Altadena is between New York and Mendocino along Midlothian, not up on Cheney Trail or something like that.

2) The 134 doesn't go to Hill. Assuming you mean the 210, the worst part of Pasadena is in the northWEST, not the northEast.

1) South Central is not in the SGV.

2) It's the NW part of Pasadena that has gangs.

3) These areas are (in my opinion) just as bad if not worse than than the worst areas of Pasadena

Asuza, South El Monte, El Monte, South San Gabriel, Rosemead, Valinda, Montebello (arguably a Gateway City not SGV).

East LA (Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, City Terrace, El Sereno) is a dumpy, high crime area. It pretty much looks like a third world country and there's really no reason to visit that area.

I bet there are some great spots. I remember once someone bringing in some amazing tamales from somewhere in East LA.

I've just happened to find enough solid Mexican spots in areas like Echo Park, Reseda, or Pasadena so that going to East LA isn't necessary.

I'm not familiar with LA, but here in New York there are plenty of safe Hispanic neighborhoods, as well as black neighborhoods. So I wouldn't even agree with your generalizations.

This is California. It is a well known fact that most ghettos are latinos and blacks.
Having said that "Asian white" safe is untrue. Yes maybe in the rich areas, but there are LOTS of white and Asian gangs lol. SD east county?
