Be advised that the cost of living out here is very high, so you may have to adjust your expectations for living arrangements. Perhaps looking to share a place with a roommate would help you get started out here and figure out where you want to live long term.

There is a lot of opening for CNAs at the Veterans Home of California. Close to the VA hospital. It's in Westwood.

You can find the openings at jobs.ca.gov. They have about 8-10 openings I think. It is state employment so you will get state/government benefits, and the pay is pretty good.

I am a former CNA also for a California State Hospital but I left shortly because I realized the medical field is not for me. I just wasn't really into it.. But good luck to you and hope you get the job!
