Several bums collapsed on the sidewalk from smoking Spice a synthetic marijuana. Its psychpactive chemicals sprayed on a plant so it can be smoked. Smells like burning plastic. One cop was hospitalized just from inhaling some of the smoke.

Good, less taxpayer money wasted (the druggies, not the cop)

ABC7 is reporting 14 overdoses in three days. I wonder if the homeless man ("Koreans are raping me!") who beat the 85 year-old man to death in front of Whole Foods was on it. Scary stuff. Add to that the fact that many people are already schizophrenic...bad news!

Who do you think foot the bill for their hospitalization? Overdose does not mean death.

If we just had built those $400,000 homes for them , this all could of been avoided. Because people in houses don't do drugs.

Ten people hospitalized after possible drug overdoses on skid row - LA Times

Several police, fire and ambulance crews responded to the scene and found multiple drug overdose victims. Witnesses told police that the victims were smoking Spice, a synthetic marijuana. The synthetic cannabinoids are made by spraying psychoactive chemicals onto plant matter, which can then be smoked or consumed.

Seven people were transported to local hospitals, police said. Three others were taken to hospitals Saturday morning from the same area. Authorities said all of the victims were expected to survive.

I wonder how much that cost the tax payers.....I'm guessing tens of thousands or more. Pretty much any trip to the emergency room even for basically nothing is over $1000 for one person.
