Good first step for the franchise. Maybe they can be a winning team by the time the stadium opens.

Unfortunately they chose their first pick because he looks like Ryan Gosling instead of the guy with the skill set to be a great NFL quarterback. Good break for the Eagles

The Rams' quarterback pick is coming from the same school as Aaron Rodgers, where he put up more impressive wins, stats and records than Rodgers. I think they made a fine pick.

Goff played in a spread offense in college. Plenty of quarterbacks have put up huge passing numbers in college in similar systems and have not been able to succeed in the NFL. Tebow, Manziel, RG3, Alex Smith, Bradford, Blaine Gabbert, Karpernick all put up huge numbers in college to name a few.

The Rams bet the farm with this trade up. If it doesn't pan out with Goff then the Rams will be paying for this pick for years.

How the heck do these drafts work anyway? Do they acquire these players by trading their current players, or offering a high salary? There is so much I don't know, in life in general.
