The state is getting increasingly expensive, and people are going where it's more affordable, where they can find jobs, and where they have family. The black population of California including Los Angeles specifically has been shrinking.

I love it over here. It's soooooo different from the east coast. The west coast is truly the best coast. So far, everyone I've encountered has been very nice.

A lot of Blacks, including my sister, don't like "African American" because they're not African. It doesn't matter, because "Black" indicates origins/roots in Africa, so whether one wants to be called "African American" or "Black American," they pretty much mean the same thing. I personally don't mind either.
So why not just "black" instead of the goofy "black American" that no one but you and your sister use?

It's disappointing that we don't really have a thriving, educated, black middle class in a concentrated area but regardless we're still here. Really LA is no place for black people but I doubt I'll ever leave.

I've never said I wanted to be around black people. I've simply said that I have noticed a lack of black people over here compared to Atlanta and the east coast. My concern is not about being around black people. I'm actually cool with that idea as a change. I'm only concern with the possibilities of growing my business over here as a black male.

Dude, that's not what I'm looking for. I can stay in Atlanta if that's the case. I'm looking at things from a business perspective.

Not really. The majority black area of LA is contiguous but fairly small. And it does not include Watts or most of Compton.
