I remember a long while back Green Burrito used to be a Mexican food joint with a few locations, not a whole lot though. I remember the food was really pretty decent Mexican food. Some years ago Carl's Jr bought them out and now serve green burrito food at a lot of locations. Ever since they took over the food is just utter crap. I can't believe how they destroyed the food. I just got some this morning just to see if it was the same and nope, I tried it a long time ago and it's still crap.

I hate it when something that was good goes bad. LOL.

I think my "go to" for quick good quality Mexican food is King Taco, love that joint. Every one I've ever been into a zoo, always always packed with people. Like the way In n Out is, you can't go to an In n Out or a King Taco without a wait. At least that has been my experience.

I recommend taking the Gold Line to East LA for King Taco. It's literally a transit orientated development.

There was a Green Burrito across from the Glendale Galleria's In-N-Out, at the 2-story plaza where the bookstore and theater were. The Green Burrito was in the 1st floor hallway with the frog fountain.

I remember eating at that place once or twice maybe 15 years ago? It was quite alright. Was that before or after Carl Jr's acquisition?

My go to meal was the carnitas super nachos. It was probably like 3000 calories, but I was a teenager then, so it's all good. lol.

Wasn't Green Burrito part of Carl's JR? Oops you mentioned that. AmeriMex like Del Taco might not be authentic, and it's crap, but it can do for many in a pinch.
