I agree. There's no place like home!

I would love that! However, as with a lot of metros, job centers in Atlanta tend to not be surrounded by affordable housing. The cheapest house is currently listed in my company's zip code is about $125K more than our house which is newer and has more square footage and amenities. Likewise, even the apartments up here run higher than a lot of other spots in the metro area.

Two weeks ago my husband was on the 605 Freeway at 105 interchange and it was stop and go traffic. He came to a complete stop - looked in his rear view mirror only to see this car coming up on his behind FAST....plowed right into my husband's new truck. Knocked the bumper almost off but the other car? Looked like an accordian. Just wait...you will get a sense of how people drive in Southern Calif. Many are texting - swerving all over or driving way too fast and not paying attention.

As a rider of public transportation, I can vouch for the fact that traffic in LA County is a steaming hot mess, be they freeways or main thoroughfares. One experience off top is Line 460 (the Disneyland bus). I have to deal with traffic in Downtown LA from 5th & Grand to 7th & Flower, then more congestion along the 105 (no issues with Harbor Transitway, thank goodness), and that stretch of Imperial Hwy between Studebaker and Orr & Day in Norwalk (ugh hell no), just for a trip to Walmart. And that's only scratching the surface. Yeesh!
