Dubai versus LA?
Would you rather live in Dubai (UAE) or LA? Why?

Wait, so we are talking about Dubai vs. LA?
I really don't know as I have never lived in Dubai. I hear it is nice, but I would imagine it doesn't have the mountains or the size of LA to offer more things. It is also not as accessable to travel as surrounding areas are not that great. At least in LA if you want to get away for the weekend, you can hit many surrounding areas.
Dubai is nice for shopping, or so my friends say who have visited.

Thanks Dawn and KnowTown! It's a hard choice (beaches are amazing in Dubai, Michael Jackson lives nearby in Bahrain, and there's a giant indoor ski sloop that looks cool vs. all the obvious benefits of LA) so thanks for helping me think it through a bit.

I'm from New York City and would go with Dubai, over LA any day.
You dont get arrested for Jay walking or have men dressed a girls in Dubai. The water is also clean to swim in.
LA beaches are rock laden brown sand cesspools
