Relocating from MD to LA and looking for a good area to stay with my family. I would prefer living in the county with mix ethnic\racial and need some advise on which county would be the best for us to rent an apartment\house.
I would really appreciate your advise.
Thank you

Try San Bernardino County around Ontario, or in Los Angeles County, you could look at Pomona

Nice neighborhoods in both areas are not exactly inexpensive , but maybe compared to LA proper.

They are from Maryland, so they are used to high COL, it's not like they're coming from Kansas or Iowa

Please provide your price point and for how large a place. And are schools important? And where is your job?

All of Maryland isn't high cost though. Median home price in Baltimore is $115,000 several times less than L.A

If they are from the DC suburbs, which is more than likely, they are used to a similar cost of living to LA area, they prob would have said Baltimore if they were from Baltimore, when people say just Maryland, I usually think they are from the DC Area

First off, living in the country won't be LA area and shows a gross misunderstanding of the LA/OC/IE metro area.

Secondly any such area outlying LA will be either Hispanic majority like say Filmore or Santa Paula, or will be white majority like say Big Bear Lake or Julian near San Diego. There's a lot of places that are very much Desert as well. So that ethnic/racial mix thing is out the window too.

If you list LA area because that is where you will be working, we would need to know where in LA area that would be. Rush hour drive from the edge of the suburbs could involve hours depending on where the job is.
