Aww, no Little Italy..such a shame. I'll be moving soon to LA and guess I'll be missing the whole ambiance - love going to local Italian restaurants with regular live operas - are there any like that in LA?

I would say San Vicente Blvd in Brentwood is the closest thing I've seen here to a Little Italy. I just stick to Andres on 3rd between the Whole Foods and the K-Mart

Which ones? I'm a "Westsider" but I don't remember too many Italian restaurants there.

Are most of those really expensive restaurants with like 4 tables in the whole place? I usually don't pay attention to those places.

I think they're fairly big... but definately pricey. For cheap italian, Andres on 3rd between K-Mart and Whole Foods is the place to go!

I can bet that just about all of those restaurant are not owned by Italians. They're probably owned by middle eastern people who don't know jack about cooking Italian food!
