"This deplorable white guy thinks so",

Gosh nobody knows how to professional title threads anymore! Do we REALLY want to know that? Let us find out ourselves when we read your post if we ever decide to be interested enough to open it.

Too many click bait titles on City Data these days. Back in the days it was straight forward to the point.

Bang! Rep me.

First off, this article should not be in the L.A. forum. Maybe in the California forum, but more likely in Politics and Other Controversies.

Secondly, while I have begun to warm up to Trump lately, at least prior to tonight's debate, he won't win California even if he wins nationally by a landslide. He'd win Massachusetts before he'd win California.

Thirdly, Victor Davis Hanson certainly is representative of people in rural parts of the state, but he and his kind are really outvoted. The same goes for the residents of rural Washington, another very blue state with some conservative rural areas.

Well... Here is my 2 sense, last election Obama got 60% of the vote and Romeney got 37% Let's say 20 ish% of left leaning people vote 3rd party, and the right gets a few percentage points of extra support then yes, trump could win. But how likely is it that all that will happen? I think it's sadly unlikely but still possible. TRUMP 2016!!!!

Wow, that Hillary must be a really incredible person to be able to overturn not just one but the first two Amendments in the Constitution.

We should make her president now! Because that woman can achieve the impossible.

I'm about as far from a Hillary supporter as you can get and I can see that Hillary won the debate.

However, Trump may have hit better on the issues people care about the most, particularly the economy.

And no, Trump has zero chance of winning California.

I really didn't want to delve into this thread because I loathe both candidates. However, you fail to consider her Supreme Court appointee (or perhaps appointees). Yes, the amendments will still be there but their meaning will not. The ONLY thing that could get me to vote for Trump without vomiting all over myself is keeping the SC from tilting left. I'm in favor of changing the Constitution through another convention or by amendments, not by lifetime appointees who answer to nobody once appointed.
