I admit to getting on the wrong train when I was new to the subway system.

i thought that it was funny when john & ken had that campaign against him to mail toilet plungers to the mayor's office. villar made a speech about illegals saying that "we" (including the mayor) are those that clean your homes, schools, etc. like he actually cleans the homes, schools? ken & john played that over and over to no end.

Media hound and very slick. Seems mostly interested in Los Angeles for what it can do for him. He reminds me of the lady that runs home and starts frying onions to trick her husband into thinking she's cooking his dinner. Handsome, plenty of flash, but no substance.

hes ok, still has time to change the way people view him. that affair almost sunk him tho. but honestly i didnt like him too much since the 14th district. he promised to stay if elected. that he would not run for mayor if the 14th chose him. what did he do? he left the 14th high and dry. since then i never trusted him too much. but the downtwon revitalization is coming along and if he gets more rail in town, better traffic, stops messing with the schools so much and focuses on crime, then maybe i might dislike less

Perhaps somebody should remind the mayor that San Pedro, home to the Port of Los Angeles $$$$$$$$ is still part of the City of Los Angeles. As others stated, it appears that his greater political aspirations have distracted him from his current duties.

I didn't vote for him when he ran for mayor against Hahn.

I believe he's a scandal waiting to happen.

He was a MECHA member which should tell you which side of Los Angeles his allegiances lie.

He spends more time away from Los Angeles campaigning for himself than he spends time in Los Angeles on city business.

He never saw a camera he didn't love.

I hate when he speaks in Spanish at news conferences, as if, they don't broadcast it with someone translating it for the spanish tv stations.

I think he's a fraud.
