baseball has been waning in popularity for years, so while the dodgers do draw well, i rarely hear people talking about the team even when going to a deciding game 5 tonight. I know a couple of die hard dodgers fans, but most don't seem to care at all. I know a few die hard lakers fans, but even those who aren't die hards do seem to have taken some interest in the team even in their meager years. considering that, i think the lakers are the biggest team in LA. i might even put SC football ahead of the dodgers at this point. the rams trail for now and where they end up remains to be seen. most people i know already have an nfl team to root for and are not replacing that team with the rams. if the rams are successful quickly, i think they have a chance to get people to switch allegiances. for now, i think they are a bit of a novelty, but due to the growth in popularity in the nfl since their departure in the 90s, i do think they will stick around this time.

Half of LA hates USC so I do not know how they could be bigger than the Dodgers.

LA is one of the few major US cities where a NBA is the most popular and supported team. Then its the Dodgers and the other teams.

Hockey is pretty big in LA. Has sold out every game since 2011, and brought 2 championships to the city. Even when the team sucked, their attendance was very good.

USC was only big because of the perfect storm of having a dynasty when LA had no NFL team. Nobody cares about UCLA except their obnoxious alumni. 75% people with USC jerseys never stepped foot on a college campus. Now that we have an NFL team interest in college sports will quickly die here

And also I know several Asian sports fans in LA and they are Laker and Dodgers fans
