Quote:
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to set aside millions of dollars for legal services to help undocumented immigrants fighting deportation.

The board voted 4-1 in favor of contributing to the L.A. Justice Fund, which is a collaborative effort between the city, county and private donors. Officials said the money for the fund would be split between the government and private foundations.
http://abc7.com/news/la-supervisors-approve-$3m-contribution-to-immigrant-defense-fund/1665179/

So, essentially, the LA Board of Supervisors is engaged in treasonous, fifth column activity intended to explicitly violate federal law.

And of course Janice Hahn, corrupt criminal politician who took donations in excess of what are allowed by law and as a quid pro quo from a developer, is a part of that.

And most of the other people on the board are guilty of something -- I'll need to check my John & Ken notes and get back to you on that.

Who in local politics is NOT corrupt these days?

Drain...

The....

Swamp.

Sad part is John and Ken are pretty much the only media speaking out against this .

This is taking money that is for our city services and being misappropriated .

I'd think even if people are ok with illegals they'd be upset about this .
It's every day or at least every week now the Mayor and these politicians announce some ridiculous waste of taxpayer money and just really bad policies .
What was it a couple weeks ago they rushed to legalize street vending because so many illegals are in the street vending business operating without permits or health inspections..?

How about doing something for you know legal law abiding citizens taxpayer voters I guess that's asking too much and it's not "progressive" enough .

Illegals and excons are Garcetti focus

Illegals are the backbone of our economy and we need to thank excons for their service in serving jail time and need to make sure they get good city jobs and ban the box because business owners shouldn't have the right to know if someone applying for a job is a criminal upfront ..
ban the box another bad policy .. was that last week ?
Hard to keep track Garcetti is a train wreck

This is just sad really. The city, county, and state keep saying that they don't have the money for BASIC services throughout the state such as roads, So that's why they keep wanting to raise taxes on the middle class, but at the same time keep wasting money on Illegals and how "we need to protect them because they are vulnerable".

That is why I, as a Middle Class white guy with a a multiracial family and a good job is leaving this state to go back to the East Coast.

Yes sadly this city , county , state is sending the message that you aren't really welcome here anymore .
They will GLADLY take that tax money from you though .
This is a dangerous road that CA politicians are going down . Hopefully more wake up to the thievery .
Problem is so many are just oblivious and think it doesn't matter what the politicians do ... it doesn't effect me

People need to stop being so dogmatic about political party and realize this is just not right .
Even if someone has a soft spot for illegals I just don't think the majority would feel this is right .

What part of the east coast ?

How about legal tax payers ? Is there a taxpayer advocate position ?
To make sure the taxpayers are getting value for their hard earned tax dollars being spent

How about justice for those that are victims of the crimes of illegals
That should be the LA justice fund .

It's funny how they come up with these names .
Justice for law breaker fund ..
