For maximum danger. Walk up to a random home in Beverly Hills barefoot and ask to use the restroom.

Wait a minute. All your other posts just scream out loud that you are a black dude. What gives here homie? You've only been registered here (under this name) for less than 26 hours, but you already have over 30 posts? Are you a "former member" here who was turned into a "Not a Member" and you just came back with a different user name?

Back in September, I was stopped at a traffic signal at the intersection of 7th St and Alamitos Ave in Downtown Long Beach (a predominately black and Hispanic area) with my windows rolled down, sipping my coffee and minding my own business. The radio was off, and I was not talking on the phone.

A black guy sitting in the backseat of the car stopped next to me also had his window rolled down, and he decided it would be a good idea to hock a loogie at me, completely unprovoked.

Now, mind you, I wasn't starring at him, or even looking in his direction. Therefore, I have concluded that it was an act of overt racism, and there's really no other explanation.

The amount of racism directed towards white non-Hispanic people in the ghetto areas of Long Beach and South LA is very pervasive and alarming, and I would strongly discourage a white person from moving to this area.

Did the loogie hit your car? That's awful. All that damage to the paint. You would have to get a whole new paint job. I could only imagine the disdain on their face when they were clearing their throat of congestion.

People are disgusting. At least spit in a napkin.

I cannot for the life of me imagine how getting spit upon warrants mockery.

Again, as I indicated in my previous post, the anti-white sentiment in urban coastal California is so strong and pervasive that mocking a white person who was spit on a by a minority person in an unprovoked attack is acceptable and fine.

In fact, one of my Latino friends - who wasn't present at the time of the incident, mind you - went so far as to insinuate that I provoked the attack and, therefore, was most likely at fault because a person wouldn't spit at another person, unprovoked. Some friend, huh?

You can't reason with liberal minorities in California or the liberal whites that support their agendas.

About 25 years ago, I was working as a truck driver. I picked up a load of steel in Compton and then drove to a Burger King. The people in there all looked at me like I had three heads. Took a second to realize I was probably the only white person for blocks in any direction. But oh well! Finished my burger and left, no problems. But there are definitely days when things could have gone another way. Around that same time, a group of us was driving from San Diego to Pismo Beach, had a really late start, and was driving through LA around midnight on a Friday night. On the 405 right around Crenshaw a buddies wife asked if we could stop to use the restroom. I raised him on the CB and let him explain to her why that might not be a good idea.

So you're OK with people spitting on your car? They hawk it up and send it in your direction, and you're like no problem, I just happened to be where he needed to spit?

I'll go ahead and call you on that and say no, that isn't going to be your response at all. Because that isn't anyone's response, except when they think they're proving some kind of point on the Internet.

About 15 years ago I had a client who did a lot of HUD loans, so I did a few hundred appraisals in what most would call the "worst" parts of Compton and Watts. The homeowners I met were, without exception, the nicest people you would care to meet and most of the homes were very nicely maintained. I did get "the look" from people on the street from time to time and I remember one guy shouting, "Hey Whitey, you lost"? But I never had anyone act in a violent or threatening manner towards me. One person I mentioned that to told me it was because I looked like a cop. The funniest thing that ever happened to me was getting pulled over by the police just as it was getting dark. He walked up to my car and said, "Sir, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE ????" I explained what I had been doing and that I was headed to the freeway to go home. They escorted me all the way to the freeway to make sure I got out alive.
