She reminds me of Gloria from Modern Family.

What ever happened to Johnny Mountain ?

Kind of a forced retirement at KCBS/KCAL IIRC.

I remember him, he was on channel 7. He was the weather reporter there for many years. He would come to the federal building on Wilshire & go up to U.S. Weather Service office. We spoke frequently. I was a teenager with a crappy, boring job & he encouraged me to go to college. Very interesting person. And, he had some dignity & professionalism.

Dr. George was the best!!

I saw Dallas at the track, Santa Anita like 15 years ago, he looked liked he'd been in a tanning booth for like 15 years, leathery!!

I think the question is if he does it gets it done himself with no help or encouragement from KABC. My guess is that KABC does it to/for him as part of the image they want to create.

Now that there have been plenty of dumping on news people I want to say that there is something about Danielle Gersh that I really like. There is something about her that is both nurturing and intelligent. I wish I knew if she wants to be a weather girl as a career or if she is using the position to get into the business and hopes to become an anchor. I hope she is promoted. And then when there is something like a car chase and they have absolutely nothing to say but they must keep talking and talking and talking to fill the time I think I will enjoy her intelligence to say something more useful than what the other anchors come up with. And I am not saying just guys or gals; they all seem to come up with things that make me say, What? That is so .... well you know.
