"I've been here since September and just in that short time, there have been several instances, situations where I felt my life was in danger," said Stringer, who recently installed blinds in the front windows for more privacy.

In one instance, a man who had been pacing quickly back and forth in front of the storefront slammed his body onto the front door and started yelling at her to let him in so he could f**k her, she said. Police apprehended him and told her to keep the door locked at all times, she said.
