I see you're in L.A.. Try Amoeba Records in Hollywood, they have hundreds of VHS titles. I recently picked up a copy of The Enemy Below with Robert Mitchum & Curt Jurgens for a buck.

Like the VHS of the Star Wars Holiday Special, because there's only like one in existence.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. To clarify a little more, I'm definitely looking for some good horror movies and well as some crappy 80s movies that didn't get a wide release, which can be especially hard to come by. Seems like flea markets are probably my best bet. If anyone in here has any horror vhs / 80s comedies they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price, feel free to hit me up!

I own about 1,000 Beta tapes. Mostly films and TV series I taped off of TV in the 1980s through mid 1990s.

Little did I know I'd buy them again DVD. Then buy my favorites again on Blu-Ray. And find many of them for free on YouTube.

I have VHS tapes too. Not that many. Maybe 100 or so. Under 200, certainly. Mostly horror. I'm a big horror fan.

One of the prizes in my Beta collection is the 1987 Fox TV series Werewolf, which was never released on tape or DVD, because the show didn't buy the home video music rights. Just the license to broadcast the music.

I still have working Beta VCRs, though most of my Beta films and TV shows I now own on VHS, or DVD, or MP4. I bought an industrial Beta VCR over 20 years ago -- cost $800 at the time -- which is still sealed in its box.
