I am curious about what cities in LA have the most mixed Asian babies because I do not see any where I live. I am in Culver City and all I see is the black mixed babies everywhere around here. The census estimates state the there are twice as many Asian mixed people as black mixed people in LA County but where the heck are they?

2012 Pew Research Center Report:

According to the Pew report, more than 25 percent of Hispanics and Asians who married in 2010 had a spouse of a different race. That's compared to 17.1 percent of blacks and 9.4 percent of whites. Of the 275,500 new interracial marriages in 2010, 43 percent were white-Hispanic couples, 14.4 percent were white-Asian, 11.9 percent were white-black, and the remainder were other combinations.

LA Times Article 2012:

California and the Western United States are leading a nationwide surge in interracial marriage, according to a new study that paints a picture of a broadly diversifying nation, one where color lines are blurring and old taboos fading.

The trend is most pronounced in Western states, including California, where waves of immigrants have helped broaden the pool of prospective spouses. Hawaii was most likely to have couples who "married out," with about 4 in 10 of the state's newlyweds between 2008 and 2010 marrying outside their racial or ethnic group. In California, which ranked sixth in the listing behind several of its Western neighbors, more than 23% of recent marriages were across such lines. Overall, Latinos and Asians were most likely to marry outside their race or ethnicity.

There is a massive Eurasian Scene. All the white guys into SWPL culture and punk rock shows have Asian Girlfriends. There is this blogger named Pilleater who is an advocate for Eurasian Culture and communities.

We only perceive a "mixed race" when someone identifies themselves as being of "mixed race" or we see them with a couple old enough to be the parents and we perceive the parental aged couple as being from different races.

Not really. You can certainly tell when people have prominent features from different races. There are tons of half asian half white people where I live and I don't have to see their parents to confirm it

And like President Obama or Tiger Woods for that matter become "Black" until they make a point of saying we are mixed so it is with persons who may have an Asian parent, like Eldrick.

I agree, I'm mixed (Asian/White), and I think it's obvious to most people.

To the OP: we're all over LA, I happen to be in the SGV.
