Is the Glassell Park neighborhood area south of Glendale a decent area? Thinking of booking an Airbnb in this neighborhood. Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you.

It's a decent area. Not great, not bad, but decent. As long as you have a car to get to various locales, you should generally be fine.

It's historically an area with a lot of gangs and high crime. It's just starting to get gentrified as people are getting priced out of neighboring areas. Crime is still higher then neighboring areas and like most of LA it can change drastically from one block to the next

Watch Gangland on Netflix. This area is full of bad hombres. I wouldn't be walking around at night that's for sure.

North of the 2 and east of the cemetery is totally fine. I wouldn't stay west of Forest Lawn.
