Default North Hollywood safety

Is there any apartments within walking distance to the Red Line station in NoHo that are reasonably priced?

like 3br for 1500 or 2br for 1200ish?

And I wanna feel safe to walk straight home at night after getting out of work.

Keep in mind, I'm not scared of there being lots of Latino families and workers and such....I'm just scared of lots of gangbangers hitting me up about where I'm from.

Is this realistic to look for?

I myself am Mexican, but I don't resemble a gang member in any way, and at night, I'd probably be riding a bike between the station and home if its far enough.

Oh yeah....and a second question..Ive been on the subway before, but I dont remember if they allow bikes.

Any answers appreciated.

Subways allow bikes but with restrictions... certain hours and a special ID I think. Look on the website.
