Yep, thanks to the police unions. There were people in the LAPD that couldn't write properly; some couldn't read maps. They didn't get fired. It's very hard for a cop to get fired. For show, police departments will fire a thug cop and wait a few weeks for the publicity to go away and reinstate them later.

Even if they are fired for real, they can always sue for a lot of money and their jobs back. Cities usually settle because sometimes it's better to pay off fired thug cops who have knowledge that might get the higher ups in trouble.

You seem to know a lot. How many years did you serve on the LAPD? I did 40 years and saw quite a few police officers get their walking papers. And just because a police officer who was discharged sues their department doesn't mean a thing. How many of them actually get anything?

I got 2 dash cams... one facing forward and facing one to my left. You gotta be ready for liars to try to talk their way out of accidents for which they are at fault.

I read this when you first posted this and I still have no idea what in the world you are saying or trying to say here.

It's backwards thinking to try and help the person you saw being scammed? If you didn't give this woman the video or access to the video then you are not a very good citizen. Her insurance is most likely going to skyrocket if she can't have the video to defend herself.
