You just blew into town, so you clearly don't know LA weather. Going to be triple digit heat this weekend starting tomorrow. August is very hot, and September is even hotter.

The summers also seem to be getting more humid than they used to be.

Wouldn't want to sit within smelling distance of someone who rode a bike a few miles into work.

But thats only here, this removing lanes is planned for all over LA area. It's absolutely nuts!

I wonder if they studied the traffic when the train bridge further east was being constructed so just when things got a bit better they jammed it right back up. I guess Culver City will go through another round of blocking their residential streets to thru traffic when mapping apps start sending more cars into neighborhoods as our leadership continues to punish us for driving

Mar Vista is trending on Twitter now due to a contentious meeting about the road diet.

We need a politician diet. We can start with Gridlock Garcetti and Bonehead Bonin -- if they were food they'd be loaded with carbs and sodium.

Look what has happened in Palos Verdes Estates. Bunch of bullies - I have read that this group is actually behind a lot that has been going on in Mar Vista etc.

And loaded with carcinogens. These politicians are a cancer. We'd be better off just having the position and seat empty versus them creating very bad policies .
Road diets , sanctuary city policies , huge DWP pay hikes etc .
They do much more harm than good .

KFI's John and Ken are making a gridlock trip to the Mar Vista traffic punishment zone on Wednesday 19th of July. I guess that Councilman Bonin is the next head on a stick target after the car tax recall effort times out.

If they successfully help to recall an L.A Citycouncilmember that would be awesome .
That means the next move would be .. you know who .. Hint: Yoga Pants

Looks like they will be at The Shack

The Shack is at 185 Culver Blvd in Playa Del Rey and is ground zero for Mike Bonin's traffic disaster.

If you're from the area and have been affected by these horrible "Road Diets," we want to hear from you! Come out, watch the show, and make your voice heard!
