It’s LA County . This is the la homeless containment thread right ?

Also it proves the homeless can survive in the Antelope Valley despite what some think .

Who said they can't? What has been said in this thread is that you can't involuntarily relocate the homeless to Antelope Valley or anywhere else, and that's not an opinion - it's constitutional law.

So if they are in Malibu they have to stay exactly in Malibu ?

Come on, jm. You're obviously aware of the answer to that question.

So they are entitled to remain precisely where they were found. Where does one find this "constitutional right"?

“They” - we all, as Americans - are entitled to not be forcibly detained or relocated from public spaces, and confined against our will, without criminal cause or certain kinds of mental incompetencies as defined by the courts.

That’s your starting point for exploring answers to the problems.

How many times does this simple foundational reality have to be restated ... especially to people who claim to be intelligent and educated?

This story has been linked before in other homeless threads and is a nice addition to this one as well.

There is no absolute right to remain "precisely where you are" that's preposterous. If you are standing in the middle of the street impeding traffic, you have no absolute right to stay there. If you are a sex offender in California you have no absolute right to stand in front of a school. If you are neither trespassing, violating the law or creating a nuisance there is no legal requirement that you move from where you are unless you are on private property that is not held for public use.

Here's a good resource that you might want to read
