Non sequitur. It does not follow that all homeless people would drive and then live in tiny Santa Barbara which, by the way, has an enormous number of parking lots for its homeless for such a small town.

Do you think any Polar Vortex escapees might opt for a nice parking lot in beautiful SB?

By the way, you lectured us on empathy, but you could easily have allowed that poor elderly old lady to park in your new home's new driveway and use your facilities when needed. Why didn't you? It's not too late.

Non sequitur? I don't think so, this is jm's warning about building safe parking lots in LA

His words, not mine...

As far as the lady in the motel parking lot. I had a place for her to live if she wanted one. I have a friend who runs a very nice long term shelter for women. I called her and she said that she had room for her if she wanted to stay there, as it turns out she was happy where she was and wanted to continue living in her car.

I care about a lot of things, i.e. stray dogs and abused children but obviously that doesn't mean that I should bring them all into my home, does it? Seriously that is just an idiotic response...

You love puppies and kitties, lollipops and so on... you did nothing to help that old woman despite what you might believe. She did not want to go to your shelter. Please stop with the virtue signaling. None of us like seeing poor kittens and puppies et al, which by the way has nothing whatsoever to do with the homeless for whom you demand others help with their tax dollars.

It's telling that you would interpret someone who was attempting to help a homeless person as ratting someone out.

Keep the vagrants high and outside! Sure they are in danger and a danger to themselves and others-but- just look at the wildly expensive equipment and personnel the taxpayers get to pay for!

They were talking about scarce parking for homeless. Why would you go to a manager and tell them about a old lady in the parking lot and risk her getting kicked out? I would have gone to the lady myself and offered services. Maybe sleepy doesn't like talking to homeless I dunno but it's not the tract I would have taken.

Once again you are making assumptions. I tried to talk to her, she refused to open the car window to talk and when she was in the breakfast room she would leave if anyone other than the manager talked to her. But that's fine, just keep making stuff up about a situation that you know nothing about.
