I'm leaning the same way. Housing prices going up, overpopulation, higher taxes - though on the plus side the city has taken initiative in expanding public transit and with gentrification the population may overall become wealthier and better educated

Well it’s certainly not going to be more livable. Everything wrong with LA (and there’s a lot) will be compounded. More traffic more taxes more people more dems. Nothing ever seems to get better in LA just worse and worse

If we keep building, more affordable. Atleast that's the idea. Supply and demand.

As for other things such as rising homelessness. That's an uncertainty. May be too late for us, but hopefully the next generation can have a better L.A.

Funny I just turned on Fox News and the topic is
“Is California turning 3rd world ?”

The direction of the city and CA is definitely going downhill .

Oftentimes a place or person really have to hit rock bottom before it can turnaround .

Not sure how many more years until people in L.A realize there needs to be a real change and the social justice warrior politicians are just making the city worse for decent people .

Olympics will be here in 10 years which is still a long ways away but hopefully that will bring improvements .

LA's basically become unliveable. COL, traffic, density. I don't see any of it getting better, short of a major earthquake.
LA's last brief golden era was from around 2008-2012.
